Dear Monday

Dear Monday: I will never truly like you!! That is okay though. Dear Nails: I really really need to get you done! I just need to find time. Dear Real Housewives of New Jersey: OMG I watched the reunion last night and I can't believe there is so much drama on there. Teresa is completely crazy! Dear Blue: I wish you were more cuddly. Only sometimes do you cuddle with me. Dear Roommate: I loved our Walmart trip for groceries only to go out to dinner that night too :) Dear TCU Football: THANK YOU for beating up on those Baylor Bears!!! SUCKS TO BU. Dear This weekend: It will be super exciting. I get to go to Homecoming. Watch us kick Techs butt. I get to see my Bestie AND I get to see an old friend I haven't seen in almost 4 years. 

and last but not least

Dear Boyfriend: You come home today. Tomorrow, We celebrate our 1 year anniversary. This is a huge milestone and I am really excited for it. 

Surprise Party!!!

My usual Monday post is a Dear Monday. Today is going to be different. I want to recap on the surprise birthday party I threw for my boyfriend last night. I am thankful that I had a TON of help. It was not as easy as I originally thought it would be.  BUT... he was super surprised and that made me so excited!! Here are some pictures........

It is Friday again, and I love linking up with Jeannett for Insta-Friday. :) 

Every Friday, I start to do this link up and I think.. wow I don't remember any pictures that I took this week. So I look thru my camera roll. Also new pictures in there. So here is how my last week went.....

On Labor Day I acquired several new pieces of furniture. This was the TV stand that I got.  

I love it! 

So, This little fan has become a huge friend of mine in my locker room after workouts. I shower,

and I still cant get cooled off. Until I found this little friend. 

What a difference it has made!! 

This is our friends dog. She is probably the NICEST and most Gentle dog ever. She does not have many facial expressions so I am glad I caught this one. I am almost positive Anthony was telling her to stop 

barking... Her eyes say " Who do you think you are? You are not my dad"

I graduated from TCU in 2008 and my Brother is currently a student-athlete there now. He put Dream Big, because at the time he was trying out for the Football team. It has been his dream to be a TCU football player forever. This past Monday, his dream came true. He was informed that he made the team. Tomorrow he will suit up and be on the sidelines as a TCU Football Player. I am so proud of him. 

 This is how our Basketball Coach comes to watch Football practice. Laying down, on the pads, in the shade. 

 My Roommate and I!! As you can see, both of us are reppin' TCU. People need to learn we are not just TCU Alumni. We know TCU football. So don't start with us because you will be schooled by girls

 Tomorrow is our season opener. This season has to huge things about it. 

1. We entered the Big 12

2. Brand new stadium renovation. All done by donated money. Not one cent in debt. GO FROGS!! 

I found these on pinterest on day. I was bored at home and tried to make them the other day. They work great! 

& Last but not least. This is a picture of two of my students from when I worked at a different high school. Both now high school graduates. Makes me proud. They are great kids.

Dear Monday

Dear Monday: Today I truly love you. It is the first day of school and that means, the crazy football schedule is no longer here. I firmly now welcome the calender that my Co-Worker puts together, because I can schedule things now... MONTHS in advance. Dear Roommate: What a great little girls day we had yesterday! I think it was VERY needed by both of us. Dear Mom: Thank you for being so awesome. I had a great time at dinner Friday Night. I am glad that you and are I becoming better friends the older I get. I am also very sorry for being a spoiled rotten teenager. I wish I could change it. Dear Boyfriend: You make me laugh soo soo hard, and thank you for caring about my stupid worry-wart-ness that kept me wide awake at 4 am this morning. Dear Tennis: I am super glad I am getting back into playing you again. I really feel like I get a good work out. Dear TCU football: 11 days!!!!!

I found this on a random blog I was reading today ( Work is pretty slow, that or I really do not want to do work today) She had been tagged to do it from someone else, So I decided to just tag someone in this one for them to do it. 1. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

Either Colorado or South Carolina. I know they are pretty complete opposite. We use to go to South Carolina for the summers and I just LOVE the whole feel of the place. Colorado simply because of the weather. The gorgious summers and the cold winters. I love.. Love...LOVE the snow. 

2. What's the nicest thing someone has ever said to you (or complimented you on)?

This is going to sound extremely corny.  My parents have called me beautiful before, but it is in their DNA to believe that. The other day Anthony crawled in bed, snuggled up to me and goes " I love you Beautiful" It meant the world to me. I am not sure why.  But it did. 

3. What's your biggest pet peeve?

People telling me to CALM DOWN (Julie I swear if you comment "Calm down" I'll change the locks!!!), Kids not respecting elders, People who don't know how to drive, and last but not least, When someone tells me how to do my job (Its different if you are trying to help. But if you have NO idea what I do, then please keep your mouth shut)

4. What's your best and worst quality (if you'll admit it - ha!)?

Best quality- I truly care about people. I am a big fan of sending people little emails, or text messages just saying " I hope you have a great day" or things. People take it as me being fake but I really do care.

Worst Quality- I am stubborn as crap, and I can have an attitude sometimes.  

5. Coffee or tea? And what do you put in it?

UN-Sweet Tea. Yes, I am from Texas and I don't like Sweet Tea... so shoot me. 

6. Would you rather go out dancing or see a movie?

Both? There are always nights when I just chill and watch a movie, but then there are some nights where I want to put on the cowboy boots and go to the Honky Tonk! (Oh geez, I am turning country)

7. What's your greatest accomplishment so far?

Graduating TCU

8. What is your biggest goal/dream?

To get my Masters. 

9. What's your favorite song? And can you actually sing? ;)

1st Edition

I have seen several people do a Dear Monday blog post. I have been looking for a specific day blog for one day during the week. My Roommate's blog Journey to 26.2 does a Thankful Thursday also another another college friend does What I'm Loving Wednesday on her blog Growing up is Actually kinda fun. So here is my first edition of Dear Monday.

Dear Monday: Please let the rest of this week go as well as today has so far.

Dear My Roommate: I thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday of relaxing on the couch!! I am super happy to have you in my life.

Dear Desperate Housewives: I can NOT believe that this upcoming Sunday, is  the 2-hour series FINALE. Makes me super sad.

Dear Headache: Please go away. I do not know why you have been around for so many days, but I am sick of you!!

Dear My Bestie: Even though our phone date kept getting interrupted and was WAY shorter than it needed to be, I am glad we got to catch up. I miss you terribly and cant wait for this summer so I can come see you!
