A day spent researching

I mentioned before that I did quite a bit of research/reading through other peoples blogs to see what people talk about. Doing research is something I like to do in my personal life to be prepared. I guess it is something my parents taught me at a young age.

Growing up in Asia had many pro's and con's. I think one of the biggest pros was learning to adapt to change and to be able to accept people for who they are. Regardless of culture, status, or color. Along with living overseas, we were given the opportunity to travel the world. (Another post in the process for sure!) Research of places and have a plan set is where this comes from. I was always the kid that wanted to know exactly what our schedule was, what flight we were on, what time it departed, and what things we would be doing while there.  I mention this because, this is what I have spent the last couple of days doing. Research on our upcoming trip to the Bahamas. Anthony and I are leaving for the Bahamas for 5 days in April, and I can not even begin to explain how excited I am. Not only is this our first " Couples " trip. It is to the Bahamas!! He works for an audio company so he has a gig out there, and when he told me about it my first (and  most appropriate ) words were " I can go" while fully not expecting to be invited nor being able to go. 1 month later, my flights are officially booked.

Flights booked, hotel booked, new dresses bought all  a check. Next is time to plan. I have been to the Bahamas once but that was so long ago. So I decided to search the internet. There is SO much to do there!! I love to make schedules for trips, but with Anthony working, I don't see that being possible since I have no clue what he will be working those days. So I have been looking at some things to do either by myself or do during the time he has off.

So far I want to swim with dolphins, go to Sandy Toes beach, and of course see the 3 forts that they have there. With one being the highest point on the island, I can only image the view you will see. During this I have read reviews up to no end!! I think that is one of the best and easiest ways to see how a place truly is.

I can only dream that the beaches are this beautiful
The waterside at the hotel that we are staying at!!

Hopefully it will be an adventure and I will have lots of pictures to post when we get back.

Have to start somewhere...

I have always toyed with the idea of starting a blog. My roommate has 2 and I am part of one with some girlfriends from College. But I have never started one by myself that is all about me. I have wondered for days about what I would write about, surely my life is not interesting enough to just gossip about. So I wanted something that would give it a theme. I did some research, clicked on random blogs, and read through several peoples. I spent a good 2 hours. (It is so easy to get lost in other peoples worlds). I figured out that I was so interested in just reading about peoples daily lives. Their friends, family, work, loved ones. You get a sense of knowing the person. So, with the encouragement of a dear friend/Roommate I decided to take the plunge....I started one. This is it!!
